This motto is a buzz phrase you’ll often hear within the industry. Safety is an essential part of every task that anyone performs at Twence. Whether at the waste-to-energy incineration plant, the composting facility, the landfill, the Twence waste-sorting plant (TAS) or in the offices, no one wants to have an accident at work.

Twence does everything in its power to prevent accidents from taking place. It’s not only because the occupational health and safety laws require us to do that, but also because we see it as our moral obligation. Twence is constantly and structurally working on identifying any risks or potentially dangerous situations and reducing those, if not removing them altogether.

As the Safety Expert at Twence, I get to contribute to that. Considering the major projects we have going on at the moment, it will remain a challenge to do this as effectively as possible, so that you really can say "At Twence, everyone returns home safe and sound after work."
