Transparency is a beautiful word. These days, many organisations want to be transparent. Twence actually puts it into practice. For me as a communications person, that makes it a wonderful company to work for. There is hardly any aspect of my profession that I can’t put into use here. Informing the general public by guiding them on excursions is an important part of what we do, but we also meet with people who live in the area. Applying for permits requires extensive public education, and there also are the contacts with the media, including both the regional press and the professional journals. In short, there’s never a dull moment for me at Twence.
